Picquet Chenin '20

Francois Haasbroek of Blackwater Wines releases wine only when he deems them ready to drink, and not a minute before. Picquet 2020, his flagship Chenin from a vineyard planted in the 80's on the steep slopes of Piket-Bo-Berg, spent 13 months in barrel and 4 years in bottle before he decided it was good enough. 

And boy, we're glad he did, because this cool-climate Swartland Chenin tastes like crisp pears, juicy white peaches, and chamomile tea.
