Bosberaad Chenin Blanc '24
A bosberaad is a meeting in the bush. To winemakers, Paul Jordaan and Pauline Roux, it's a name that honours their decision to let nature lead the way.
This honest and unmistakable Chenin Blanc from bush vines planted in the '80's at the bottom of a Paardeberg valley is proof that Mother Nature really does know best. Shorter sun exposure on the site preserves freshness while a mix of greener grapes from the lower slope and slightly riper ones from upper slope brings natural balance and texture to the bottle.
Find a nose of pear and honeycomb and a slightly reductive palate with an interesting saline lift.
